So, I know its been a while since I said I'd be posting one of these but its about time that I get off my ass and make the damn article already.
Take note that some of these games have already been released (These will be marked in brackets next to the game name).
I've also decided to scrap the idea of including Console and Indie games. We all seem to be PC (master-race) elitists here so I'll keep it to PC games only.
New Game Releases for May 2013 (PC only):
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon (Already Released): No, you don't need Far Cry 3 to play this, although it uses Far Cry 3's game engine/mechanics. I honestly can't say much without spoiling this game but if you havn't seen the trailer/bought the game already, you're really missing out.
Metro: Last Light (14th May 2013): A sequel to the first Metro game (Metro 2033), the game takes place in a post-apocalyptic russia, after a nuclear war in 2020. In my opinion, this might be the best gaming release for PC this May.
Resident Evil: Revelations (21st May 2013): Initially released for the Nintendo 3DS, Resident Evil: Revelations comes to PC as a high-definition port. After Resident Evil 6's horrible sales/reviews, Resident Evil fans may just make a hit and run with this game.
GRID 2 (28th May 2013): If you're into racing games then this will be up with the best racing games this year (That is, if any others are released further in the year). High specs are recommended as the original game, GRID, had FPS issues on slower computers.
New DLC Releases for May 2013 (PC only):
The only semi-decent DLC coming out this month is for Tomb Raider (2013). This DLC is for the "Shipwrecked Multiplayer Map Pack".
Also, if you have not played, let alone heard of some of the past gaming releases this year, then you really are missing out. Heres a list of what I think are the top games out there right now.
Crysis 3
Dead Island: Riptide
Bioshock Infinite
and Aliens: Colonial Marines (lol, no)
So there you have it. Some news regarding the gaming industry and what not. I know its not top-notch quality but I don't get paid for this so go figure :P.
Cheers,
